The Most Amazing Dog Ever!

This 5-minute video tells the tale about an Oklahoma City dog named Faith.
But Faith is no ordinary dog. She was born with no front legs.

Her owner, the Stringfellows, got her when she was three weeks old.
At that time, her legs weren't fully developed so she had to learn how to walk upright with just two legs.
With the help of the Stringfellows (mother Jude, daughters Laura and Caity, and son Reuben), Faith is now able to walk and even run like a human.
So whenever you are unhappy, think of Faith and appreciate the good things that you already have.

OK. No, they are not playing football.
What they are doing in the photo is called the alert stance. They will prop their body into an upright position keeping a lookout from predators such as hawks and jackals.
But of course, meerkats will take turns in keeping watch. And if the coast is clear, they will be lazing around and resting.

"What Goes Around Comes Around"

When we first saw this photo, our reaction was...
OMG... how did this seal deserve such a cruel punishment?
...to be sentenced to swim in a narrow tube??? That is so wrong!

Then it occurs to us that... maybe the zookeepers was teaching the seal a lesson for mocking at us human's upright posture...
...
OK. Jokes aside.
This is what we were wondering. Do seals like swimming upright?

We did a quick check on the seal's common behaviours, and here is what we have found...
Seals do swim upright! And they do that alot! It's called 'bottling'.
Seals are often seen 'bottling', meaning staying upright with only their head showing above water. They do this especially when they are sleeping.


So to our question as to whether seals like to swim upright?
Of course they do! They are used to it!
