Hey BucksBunny,
I've noticed you had a lot of youtube videos posted in your Blogger blog. I've been trying to figure out how to do this. Could you provide a quick explanation or link me to a tutorial on how to do it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and like the blog!
Hi Joel,
It's very simple. First you need create an account at youtube. Here's the link...
http://youtube.com/signup
Before you could add a video to your blog, you need to setup your blog settings by clicking "Blog Video" link, which you could find under "Rate this video" panel.
After doing that, you just click on the "Blog Video" link again.
Hope that helps and have fun blogging, mate!
Excellent, thanks so much. I'm going to go try it right now!
hi guys! love the site. i tried what u suggested about the video...but it seems to stall on the utube page:
"We are fetching your blog information... please wait"
it just sits there, thinking. NOT posting the video to my blog!
anyone else have this problem? or a solution?
Hi anonymous,
When you add a blog, did you choose your blog service correctly?
It says in "Add a Blog":
Currently, YouTube supports posting to Blogger, BlogSpot, and LiveJournal blogs, as well as Friendster. We will be adding support for other blogging platforms and personal sites soon.
But i guess another way is to add the following code in your html...
src="http://youtube.com/v/U1RPNejyn8Q" width="425" height="350" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
i cannot place the whole code in the comments so you have to add opening and closing for embed.
embed src... flash" embed
add the opening and closing brackets as well.
The video code in bold is the one which will determine which video you are placing in your blog, so in this case U1RPNejyn8Q is for the owl scaring video.
Yes I have the same problem. I keeps refreshing and nothing happens...
Can someone help me
